The Max Leather Group, a leader in the belt manufacturing industry is expanding. Our growth has resulted in a need for an Import Coordinator to work out of our warehouse office in Far Rockaway, Queens.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Handling import pre-shipment (ETD)
Monitoring commercial invoice terms of freight such as L/C or T/T
Monitoring import post-shipment (ETA) inclusive of Customs / Pre Clearance
Processing customer invoices (pre-billing or billing)
Monitoring customer credit status i.e. on hold or pre-paid
Handling customer shortage claims and charge backs
Handling POD documentation
Working with fright forwarder and Customs Broker
Review/calculate/maintain all invoices from factory Customs broker and freight forwarder timely for processing
Candidate must have computer skills in Outlook and Excel and be a team player.
